As residents seek clarity and direction, the role of elected officials becomes crucial in addressing concerns and outlining future plans. District Attorney to Speak on the Incident

One of the most anticipated moments in the coming community meetings is the District Attorney’s address regarding the Brothers Pizzeria incident. The DA’s role will be to provide insight into the legal aspects, ongoing investigations, many holes in the NYS Bail Reform and any actions being taken to uphold justice.

What We Expect from Our Elected Officials

Residents expect their elected officials to take clear, decisive action in response to the incident and other community concerns. This includes:

  • NEW YORK STATE BAIL REFORM- FIX/REPEAL NEEDED!

  • NEW YORK STATE RAISE THE AGE: DANGEROUS & RECKLESS!

  • NEW YORK STATE CANNABIS-REFORM NEEDED NO TRANSPARENCY

  • NEW YORK CONGESTION PRICING- HURTING OUOR COMMUNITY.

  • MTA ACCOUNTABILITY DESPERATELY NEEDED-NEED REFORM.

Car-Free Earth Day 2026 and NYC-DOT Participation

Looking ahead, the community is preparing for Car-Free Earth Day 2026, an event hosted by PR-NSA with the New York City Department of Transportation (NYC-DOT) as a key participant. This event aims to promote sustainable transportation and reduce vehicle traffic in the area.
