William Galvin

William (Buddy) Galvin was born November 20, 1947 in Port Richmond.

Growing up he loved sports, going to Faber Pool, fishing with his cousin Brian Fairlie and being with his
family. He was especially close to his sister, Gail Galvin D’Arduini. Buddy served in Vietnam from
1967-1969 and worked with Mobile Artillery Firearms. Buddy was a member of the Marine Corp League and the VFW on Staten Island. Bud retired from Con Edison after a successful career.

At the time of his death at the age of 69, Buddy was survived by his father Bud Galvin a WW II vet, his sister Gail, two brothers and two brothers and another sister, his wife Deborah and children: Megan, Bud, and Brian. All who had the honor of knowing him said he was the nicest guy you could ever meet.
