Assassination Attempt on Former US President Donald J. Trump
Board members of Port Richmond North Shore Alliance wish to share our frustration as the world learned of an attempted assassination of Former President Donald J. Trump. As a Civic Group we do not encourage nor support any sort of violence towards anyone because of their political views.
We do support the First Amendment and the right to rally/protest. However, we do not support the violence which may come with it. The most powerful way to make a statement is at the polling stations and casting your vote. Not behind a weapon.
In addition, we suggest to our Elected Officials in all levels of government to take a better path and cease the negative campaigning. We would all appreciate our Elected and Candidates to bring their ideas on the campaign trail instead of exchanging digs at one another. There is sufficient evidence that negative words can bring this sought of violence into any community. It is the fabric of every community which places the Elected Official in office. The same Community can vote them out.
We wish Former President Donald J Trump for a speedy recovery.
